The illustrations were excellent, also. Dr. Lowery is an amazing author, and knows how children learn.| |The book does a good job of introducing a concept to the reader and then following it up with a question to make the reader think for themselves. For instance, it asks what kind of food particular animals eat and what might happen if their food should run out.
