One could think this is a general book about forest ecology. The back cover text tells a little bit more: if you have read it you think this is on the general ecology of Victoria's montane ash forests. However, the book only covers forests dominated by Eucalyptus regna|About the Author|David Lindenmayer is a Research Professor at the Fenner School of Environment and Society, the Australian National University (ANU). He has written 41 books on forest ecology and management, conservation in agricultural landscapes, fire ecology
